Chicken Wingy Dingys
Makes 36 appetizers

3 lbs chicken wings or drummies*, defrosted
20 oz (2 1/2 cups) Faygo Cola (not Faygo Diet Cola)
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons (6 tablespoons total) honey
Garlic salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Heat electric skillet, or preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place chicken in electric skillet or a 9 by 11 baking dish with a natural cover or foil. Set aside. In a small bowl, whisk together Faygo Cola, ketchup, honey, garlic salt and pepper. Pour over chicken. Cover and cook in skillet or bake in over for 30 minutes. Uncover and cook or bake for another 30 minutes. Just before serving, remove some of the sauce (to allow chicken to brown) and return the chicken to the skillet or oven for 15 to 20 minutes to brown. Remove from skillet or oven and serve with sauce.

*Drummies, or drummettes, are the meatier sections of the wings, without the wing tips.

Note: These are not spicy, Buffalo-style wings, but have a classic, light barbecue flavor. This is a good, make-ahead tailgate dish that can be served hot or cold.
